#Graduation – done. And now?

As a contract laboratory for the pharmaceutical industry, we are internationally renowned for our high quality standards. At our companies sites in Bergheim and Mainz, we ensure that medicines are safe. Your nasal spray? We may have tested it for efficacy. Your pain killer? Perhaps we tested its shelf life.
#Apprenticeship at A&M
As an apprentice at A&M, you matter to us right from the start. You help ensure that medicines are safe and efficacious – and that is an important job with lots of responsibility. During your training, you’ll benefit from a modern laboratory, a friendly team and fair supervisors – but don't just take our word for it, check out what our trainee Ricky has to say.
#Job with a future: Chemical laboratory assistant (m/f/x)
As a prospective chemical laboratory assistant at A&M, you will work closely with our team of specialists. You will examine raw material, intermediates and finished medications. In the process, you will get to know modern analytical methods, measuring techniques and state-of-the-art equipment in detail. We work closely with the Rhein-Erft-Akademie (company site Bergheim) and Provadis (company site Mainz) in our training programs. Your apprenticeship usually lasts 3.5 years and is well paid. Thereafter, we will be happy to talk to you about your future at A&M. Our goal is to keep you enthusiastic about our company in the long term.
You will fit in well with us if you are very meticulous, structured, orderly and logical. In addition, you should have curiosity, a willingness to learn and the ability to work in a team. You are looking for an ambitious job in a friendly, trusting team. You (almost) have your „Abitur“ certificate or your excellent secondary school certificate. Perhaps a university degree is (or was) too theoretical for you.
Apply to us with your letter of application, a curriculum vitae and your last two school reports.
We accept applications for apprenticeships year-round for the coming training year. The apprenticeships start in August/September.
